CONTENT: Agenda 13/03/2013 & Short report 30/01/2013 Agenda van de raads- en overlegvergadering van 13 maart 2013 · Basis OER-en 2013-2014 (FR13-014 en FR13-024, ter instemming) · Stand van zaken organisatieverandering onderwijsondersteuning (ter informatie) · Discussiestuk over organisatie en financiering van de faculteit (FR13-025, ter bespreking) · Formalisering koppeling basiseenheden aan één onderzoekinstituut in het faculteitsreglement (FR13-026, ter bespreking) Kort verslag van de raads- en overlegvergadering van 30 januari 2013 · Onderwijsverandering binnen FWN Op dit moment is er een groot aantal veranderingen gaande op het gebied van onderwijs binnen onze faculteit. De organisatieverandering voor de onderwijsondersteuning en de inrichting van Graduate School en Undergraduate School zijn in volle gang. Daarnaast worden veranderingen doorgevoerd in het onderwijs zoals de invoering van de internationale bachelor, welkomstgesprekken en de verzwaring van het BSA. Dit soort processen biedt vele mogelijkheden tot verbetering, maar er kunnen ook zaken over het hoofd gezien worden. De faculteitsraad is betrokken geweest bij een deel van de veranderingen die nu lopen, en heeft ingestemd met de organisatieverandering van de onderwijsondersteuning. Nu is een goed moment om vast te stellen of we als faculteit op de goede weg zijn. Lopen de processen soepel? Zo niet, wat kan er verbeterd worden? We houden voor 1 maart interviews met een aantal (maar niet alle) direct betrokkenen (directeuren, adjunct directeuren, OC's (studenten en docenten), studie adviseurs, onderwijs coördinatoren, administrateurs/onderwijsbureaus en voorlichting/PR). Daarnaast is er een enquête gestuurd naar een groot aantal vaste medewerkers in de onderwijsorganisatie. Als u ook graag uw mening wilt geven, maar nog geen enquête ontvangen heeft, laat het ons weten (e-mail naar [log in to unmask]) dan sturen we hem u toe. We gaan vanzelfsprekend vertrouwelijk om met de informatie die u verstrekt. De uitkomsten van de interviews en de enquêtes zullen door de raad worden gebruikt bij het overleg met het faculteitsbestuur over bovengenoemde onderwerpen. The organizational change for the educational support and the establishment of the Graduate School and Undergraduate School are in full swing. Other new developments are for example the introduction of the international bachelor, welcome calls and a stiffer BSA (Binding Study Advice). These type of change processes offer many possibilities, on the other hand things might be overlooked. The faculty council has been involved in some of the above developments, and has approved the organizational changes mentioned above. Now is a good time to establish whether we, as a faculty, are on the right track. Do the change processes run smoothly? If not, what can be improved? We have organized interviews with a number of those directly involved (directors, deputy directors, OC’s (education committees, students and teachers), student advisors, education coordinators, administrators, study guidance and PR). We have also send a questionnaire to a large number of employees within the educational organizations. Your information will, obviously, be treated confidentially. The results of interviews and the questionnaire will be used in the consultations between Council and Faculty Board on the above issues.
