Best, Margreet Vogelzang ([log in to unmask]) ------------------------------------------- Wanted: Student assistant programmer to implement interactive touchscreen game for performing linguistic experiment We're looking for someone to implement a simple touchscreen game. The game will be used in a psycholinguistic experiment to test children's comprehension of linguistic structures of the form "x said (that) y". Candidate should have some relevant experience in creating a simple game or other graphical application. We offer a fixed term appointment as student assistant at the RuG, Dept of Philosophy, RuG. The requirements for the game are as follows: - game should preferably run on an Android/iOS tablet (jailbroken/rooted). Windows 7, 8 or Linux on a touchscreen PC is a possibility as well. - child-friendly (4-9 year olds), robust touch interface resembling a typical children's iPad game. Children's inputs to be recorded in database (for subsequent statistical analysis). - game involves three talking, animal characters performing a couple of simple actions.
