CONTENT: Agenda 19/12/2012 & Short report 08/11/2012 Agenda van de raads- en overlegvergadering van 19 december 2012 · Vacaturestop/-beheersing (FR12-204, ter instemming) · Verantwoording doelbudgetten 2011 en voorstellen bestedingen 2012 (en 2013) (FR12-064 en FR12-203, ter instemming) · Stand van zaken organisatieverandering onderwijsondersteuning (FR12-198 en FR12-205, ter informatie) · Invoering resultaat- en ontwikkelingsgesprekken bij FWN (FR12-202A en FR12-202B, ter instemming) Kort verslag van de raads- en overlegvergadering van 08 november 2012 · Organisatieverandering onderwijsondersteuning In elke raadsvergadering staat de voortgang met betrekking tot de onderwijsorganisatieverandering op de agenda. De raad heeft er de afgelopen maanden herhaaldelijk op aangedrongen bij het bestuur dat alle betrokken partijen, dus ook studenten en docenten, tijdig geïnformeerd worden over de voortgang van de werkgroepen. Het bestuur heeft inmiddels de facultaire gemeenschap geïnformeerd over de organisatieverandering door middel van een brief. Verder is op 5 december een informatiebijeenkomst georganiseerd voor alle betrokkenen. In de raadsvergadering van 8 november heeft de raad het bestuur ook verzocht om frequentere updates vanuit de werkgroepen te laten geven. Het bestuur heeft aangegeven dat men met meer regelmaat over de voortgang wil gaan communiceren, met specifieke groepen medewerkers. De raad vindt snelle en zorgvuldige communicatie belangrijk. In juni, toen werd ingestemd met deze organisatieverandering, heeft de raad het bestuur op het hart gedrukt dat het verwerven en behouden van draagvlak ervoor bij het betrokken personeel essentieel is. Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van een eenduidig RUG format dat voor alle faculteiten hetzelfde is. Het plan oogt overzichtelijker nu, maar de raad zou toch graag nog wat meer informatie over de voortgang van meerjarige projecten willen zien. Binnen de categorieën psychosociale belasting, werkplek gerelateerde zaken en gezondheid zijn volgens het plan nu geen maatregelen nodig. Het bestuur geeft aan dat haar prioriteit bij het garanderen van een veilige werkplek voor de werknemers ligt. Agenda of the Faculty Council and Board meeting of December 19, 2012 · Hiring freeze/control (FR12-204, for approval) · Approval of specific budgets 2011 and spending proposals 2012 (and 2013) (FR12-064 and FR 12-203, for approval) · Change of the organizational structure of education FMNS (FR12-198 and FR12-205, for information) · Introduction results and development interviews at FMNS (FR12-202A and FR12-202B, for approval) Short report of the Faculty Council and Board meeting of November 08, 2012 · Change of the organizational structure of education FMNS The progress on the education organizational change is on the agenda of each Faculty Council and Board meeting. In recent months, the Faculty board has repeatedly urged the Council to inform, in time, all stakeholders, including teaching staff and students, about the progress by the working groups. The Board has meanwhile informed the faculty community about the organizational change in a letter. Furthermore, an information meeting for all the staff directly involved was held on 5 December. In the Faculty Council and Board meeting of 8 November, the Council also requested the Board to urge the working groups to give more frequent updates. The Board has expressed its intention to communicate on a more regular basis to specific groups of employees on the progress. The Board believes that fast and accurate communication is important. In June, when this organizational change was agreed upon, the Council urged the Board that acquiring and retaining support of the staff concerned is essential. The format used now is a general format used throughout the university. The plan has improved and is more comprehensive, but the Council would still like to see more information on the progress of multi-year projects. According to the plan there is no need for structural measures within the fields of psychosocial stress, workplace related issues, and health issues. The Board also stated that their first priority lies with guaranteeing a safe work environment for their employees.
