Kort verslag van
de raads- en overlegvergadering van 17 December 2008:

Milieubeleidsverklaring De personeelsgeleding,
gesteund door de studentgeleding, heeft ingestemd met de milieubeleidsverklaring. ·
Concept Bèta’s in Banen 3 De criteria
zijn aangescherpt sinds Bèta’s in Banen 2. De faculteitsraad
had een aantal vragen en opmerkingen die naar tevredenheid zijn
beantwoord door het faculteitsbestuur. De personeelsgeleding, gesteund door
de studentgeleding, heeft ingestemd met dit benoemings- en bevorderingsbeleid
voor WP. Gevraagd is om ook voor het OBP soortgelijk beleid te ontwikkelen. ·
Overzicht gevoerde ontwikkelings- en
beoordelingsgesprekken Zowel de
faculteitsraad als het faculteitsbestuur zijn zeer ontevreden
met het lage aantal gevoerde gesprekken. De personeelsgeleding verzocht
het bevorderingsbeleid van medewerkers los te koppelen van deze gesprekken.
De faculteitsraad verwacht actie van het bestuur wat betreft dit onderwerp. ·
Toekomst Graduate School De
faculteitsraad stemt in met het wijzigen van het faculteitsreglement waardoor
de Graduate School of Science per 1 Januari
2009 officieel van start kan. Contact De

containing the agenda and afterwards with a short summary of the meeting. |
Short summary of the council- and consulation
meeting of 17 December 2008: ·
Environmental Policy
Statement The staff members, supported by the student members,
agreed with the environmental policy statement. ·
Draft Beta’s in Banen 3 The criteria have been tightened
since Bèta’s in Banen 2. The Faculty Council has asked some
questions and remarks which have been answerded satisfactorily by the
Faculty Board. The staff members, supported by the student members, agreed
with this new version of the policy for appointment and promotion of the
scientific staff. The Council requested the Board to develop such a policy
for the nonscientific staff as well. ·
Overview of career development interviews Both the Faculty Council and the Faculty
Board find blame by the low number of interviews that have been held so
far. The staff members requested that promotions do not only take place when
an interview is held. The Faculty Council expects action from the Board
concerning this matter. ·
Development
of the The Faculty Council agreed with the change of the
Faculty rules, by which the Graduate School of Science is a fact by
