Energy Delta Institute (EDI) is an international energy business school,
with a primary focus on natural gas. EDI was founded in 2003 by N.V.
Nederlandse Gasunie, GasTerra B.V., OAO Gazprom and the University of
Groningen, later Shell and RWE joined the group. EDI’s main objective is
to contribute to the professional development of current and future
energy managers. EDI coordinates research projects and organises
training programmes with a focus on the managerial,  economic, legal and
geopolitical aspects of the energy business industry for companies
around the world. Recently Energy Delta set up an in-house Intelligence
Unit  focused mainly on the natural gas sector of the energy industry .

Junior Energy Analyst (40 hours)

Stand: Groningen

Job description:
As Junior Energy Analyst you will be part of the newly established
Intelligence Unit. You will work closely together with and report to the
team leader Prof.Dr. C.J.Jepma.


contribute to the content of the Intelligence Unit website;
coordinate and guard the quality of the information on the website;
write short articles and notes on energy topics, especially natural gas;
monitor and collect relevant information on energy developments;
maintain contact with energy companies;
organize meetings / round the table discussions with experts from
various knowledge institutes and the energy industry;

Job qualifications
A Junior Energy Analyst must have the following job qualifications:
An academic degree, preferably a technical degree with specialization in
energy / sustainability;
0-2 years relevant working experience;
Excellent editorial and social skills;
Affinity for research and analysis;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch
(Russian would be considered an asset)
Knowledge of media and communication techniques;

Required skills
Planning and organizing;
Independent and highly motivated;
Energetic personality with good social skills;
Ability to prioritize and work under pressure;
