ITP Internship Retail Banking at ING!

Company: Retail Banking

Banking is part of everyone’s daily life. So from personal experience
you know what we do. And perhaps you know how we could do even better.

This is your chance to bring your ideas to the table and re-invent
Retail during a challenging graduation internship. This internship gives
you a sneak preview of the Retail Banking Leadership Programme ING
offers to talented Master graduates.

What will the future look like? Will mobile phone banking become the
next big thing? Will internet entirely replace traditional banking
offices? The Retail Banking Leadership Programme provides you with a
clean sheet. Together we are about to write a challenging chapter of our
future: the merger of Postbank and ING Bank where easy banking meets
expertise.

Project:

Throughout the year we offer exciting assignments in the Netherlands!
Right from the start you deal with a relatively high level of
responsibility and work on projects that really add value to the business.

Retail Banking Custum Made:
An internship will be tailer-made for you. You can choose to do this
internship as an associate internship of three months, in which you
support your colleagues with their projects and get a close look on the
division concerned. But you can also choose to do this internship as a
graduation internship of four to six months, in which you work on your
graduate assignment. You are able to design your own graduation
assignment, in consultation with the division concerned.


After you have successfully passed our selection procedure, the search
for a tailor-made internship will take about six weeks on average.
Please take this in to account when you want to start within a specific
time span.


Who are we looking for?
You have strong analytical skills and have a winning spirit. You are an
innovative, conceptual thinker who thinks out-of-the-box and knows
what’s going on in a complex market(ing) driven environment. You take
initiative; are result driven and have a can-do mentality. You are eager
to share your vision on developments in the retail field and you know
how to get other people on board.


Besides this, there are a number of other requirements:

• You are studying for a Masters degree at a Dutch university.

• You will graduate within 14 months.

• The internship falls within the period that you are registered at the
university.

• You are fluent in Dutch.

What we offer:

AMS Brand Assistant for the Euro shopper brand of Ahold

Company:

General
AMS, one of the largest buying alliances of European food retailers, was
established in 1988 with the purpose of realizing best terms and
conditions for buying across an extensive range of food and non-food
products for its members, suppliers and more than 100 million customers
who shop in more than 10,000 AMS member stores every week. AMS currently
consists out of 11 leading European retail members: Ahold (The
Netherlands), Booker (United Kingdom), Dansk SG (Denmark), Delhaize
(Belgium), Elomas (Greece), Esselunga (Italy), Hagar (Iceland), ICA
(Sweden), Jerónimo Martins (Portugal), Kesko (Finland), Migros
(Switzerland), Morrisons (United Kingdom), Systeme U (France) and
Superquinn (Ireland).


The Marketing Department is responsible for total brand management and
packaging design of the Euro Shopper brand, which is being sold in 16
countries.
The Brand Assistant will be part of the current Brand Management Team.
For this position we are looking for an intern.

The assignment
During the day-to-day business you will be working together with the
current Brand Assistant. Together you will be responsible for
co-ordination and implementation of a packaging redesign for the Euro
Shopper brand. You will be in direct contact with other departments
within AMS and distributors of the Euro Shopper brand in various
countries, Quality departments, design agencies and suppliers. You will
report to the Brand Manager. Besides you will also assist the Brand
Manager and Brand Assistant in other projects related to the Euro
Shopper brand.

Company language is English due to the international character of the
organization and position.

Your activities:

• Full co-ordination of design projects (up to and including
finalization of artwork files)

o Retrieval of all necessary documentation (product specifications,
machine drawings)

o Arrange for ingredients texts and text translations in co-operation
with Quality Departments

o Arrange for final approvals by all parties involved

o Arrange for availability of artwork at supplier within given time
constraints


In your role as Brand Assistant you will get the opportunity to work
within an international organization with many external and internal
contacts on various levels, get insights and broad experience in
packaging design development of a well-known international brand,
develop projectmanagement skills.
