Purchasing Department
Job Title: Purchasing Specialist
Location: Bussum, the Netherlands
Type of Function: Full-Time/Internship

A member of purchasing department team is considered to deliver maximum
performance and
promote company’s development and growth by being actively involved in
supply market
management at international levels. The main tasks are to successfully
deal with sourcing
projects, develop, build and maintain vendor partnership and execute
purchasing procedures.

As a member of purchasing department team you will be:
• Investigating, analyzing and coordinating with sourcing.
• Coordinating with sales team to ensure all information is obtained.
• Preparing RFQs based on commercial and technical requirements.
• Negotiating with suppliers on all purchasing terms.
• Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance and optimizing
the process.
• Formulating and implementing supplier analysis.
• Exploring technology and sourcing mechanisms to maximize the results.
• Planning, organizing, tracking and disseminating information and
implementing the
processes in order to achieve best results and deadlines of the
purchasing activities in the
assigned projects.
• Maintaining up to date supply base information database.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure the project cycle is
completed according to
the standards and process.
• Performing other duties as required.
• Preparing daily progress reports to Purchasing and General Managers.
• Collaborating closely with internal departments.
Competencies & Knowledge:
• Proficient English language skills, written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Detail orientation.
• Discipline and ability to work independently with minimum supervision
and to work with the
team.
• Excellent in time management, self organization and stress management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
• Multitasking ability.
• Flexibility.
• Pro-activity.
• Good computer skills, especially Excel.
• Good research skills.
• Additional foreign language is a plus.
Requirements:
• Academic education in a business-related field: International Business
and Management
Studies, Business and Economics, International Management, etc.
(Bachelor & Master
Degrees)
• Availability for the period of at least 6 months for internships and
12 months for full-time with
a possibility of extension.
