Admission Assistant Internship
IHS, Erasmus University Rotterdam has a vacancy (0,8-1,0 fte) for an
internship in the admissions office of IHS from 1 March 2012 to 1 August
or 1 September 2012 (5 or 6 months). The admissions office is part of
the Marketing & Communication department.
•Enter student data into database
•Communicating admissions decisions to students via email
•Answering emails and telephone calls from prospective students and
applicants regarding their application, fellowships and others
•Administrative duties · Marketing and communication support
•Reviewing qualifications of applicants
•Currently pursuing a HBO or Bachelor for example in international
communication, marketing or educational sciences
•Entitled to do an internship under the European law
•Excellent communication and IT skills · Good command of English in
writing and in speech
•Highly organized, independent and structured way of working
•You are interested in working in an international environment
•You are able to work accurately
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
IHS offers a remuneration of €300 per month. The intern is officially
part of the team of the Marketing & Communication department. The intern
is supervised by the admission officer and reports to the teamleader
Marketing & Communication. Training in our CRM system and our
information is included in the package. Since the IHS is an
international institute that handles many international student requests
and admissions, we prefer international candidates for this position.
